A Chicago based artist, Kandace has been drawing since 7 years old and has always been actively involved in the arts. As a self-taught artist, Kandace has honed her craft throughout the years to create exceptional pieces of art that make one of a kind gifts. Her specialties consist of pet portraits, acrylic paintings, digital paintings, and digital prints.
Kandace’s painting style is based from her degree in Psychology and passion for Art Therapy. She paints in a black|white|gray color palette as an ode to the cognitive thought process of Dichotomous Thinking (Black & White Thinking). The different tones of gray paint act as a reminder that our thought processes and choices in life do not have to be one way or the opposite, there can be a blend, color, or different option altogether in life. |
